Early influences: Bluegrass artists Ed Brozi (Uncle) and Mac Martin. Square dance caller Alma Jean Morton (Aunt). Various fiddlers at square dances. Guitarists, pianists, and vocal instructors and choir directors.
Music Theory: Richard Choura and Dr. Gregor Monchusi.
Instruments: Keyboards, piano, bass, guitar, viola & violin.
Education:
Attended Edinboro State and Duquesne University for Music Education. Viola major, piano minor.
Viola scholarship.
Graduated from Robert Morris University with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts.
Graduated from Point Park University with a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications.

Music performance (highlights):
- Violist with numerous orchestras.
- DJ at public, private and volunteer events.

Songwriter demos arranged, produced and recorded with local Pittsburgh musicians.
- Member of the Renaissance City Choirs from 1993-1999 and 2011-2012, Pittsburgh, PA.
Participated as a Baritone and Tenor, music arranger, accompanist, copyist, board member, and newsletter editor.
The choirs are an artist-in-residence at East Liberty Presbyterian Church, performing two major concerts a year, lending our voices to local events, memorials, private and other community events.
Guests at RCC concert performances (highlights): Mimi Lerner, soprano, The Flirtations, Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra, various choirs in the Mid-Atlantic & Mid-West regions.
Performances highlights: Indiana University of Pennsylvania first Pride celebration, AIDS quilt presentation at University of Pittsburgh and performances in the cities of Cleveland, Columbus, and Rochester with the respective choirs.
